We create your package your way! With our local expertise, we can help you plan your trip the most pleasant and economical way. You choose the items that you would like. We check availability and book accordingly. You receive an itinerary/invoice with each item clearly listed. Our Puffin Travel services are free.

In your package you might like a night or two or even more with us at A Puffin's B&B with complementary airport transfers, use of bikes and satellite computer connection; the Glacier Bay tour boat; air taxi between Juneau, Haines, Skagway and Gustavus; tour boat transfers or rental car; kayaking, whale watching, fishing, flightseeing. Explore the community on our Puffin bikes or on foot; it's fun, easy going and free!

For 2-3 people, taxi transfers to and from the park are the common way to go. Or you may choose a 24-hour rental car; then you can come and go as much as you like. For 4-6 people, the best choice is a 24-hour rental car. For 4-6 people assume two people per cabin; for 5 people assume two people in one cabin and three in another cabin; for 6 people assume assume three people to each cabin. The Glacier Bear Rental House holds a maximum of 6 people. We can book your air transportation on air taxis from Juneau, Haines or Skagway. Air taxi price will depend on the number of passengers traveling together. You may do an open triangle Haines or Skagway to Glacier Bay to Juneau and you may travel either north or south.

Rate for one night single/double at A Puffin’s Bed and Breakfast Lodge is $125/night. $25 for each additional adult. $15 for children 2-12. Under 2 years, free. Please add 4% city bed tax. We do recommend at least a two-night stay so that you can enjoy the many activities available in the Gustavus/Glacier Bay area.
Rate for two night minimum at the Glacier Bear rental house is $135/double/night, $25 each additional adult , $15 children 2 to 12yrs, under 2 years free. Breakfast is not included at the rental house and may be purchased at the Puffin Lodge for $10pp plus 2% city sales tax.

Flightseeing:

Many options for spectacular views of ice fields, glaciers, fjords and forests. Most planes hold 3 to 5 passengers and have a charter rate for the flight or an hourly rate. The per person price will depend on the number aboard.

Here are some approximate charter rates for tours in a wheel plane that holds 5 passengers:
Gustavus-Glacier Bay West Arm-Gustavus 1 hour 20 minutes $410/plane
Juneau-Juneau Ice Cap Tour-Juneau 45 minutes $240/plane

For a amphibian plane there is just an hourly charge: This plane can land on the water near the glaciers for sightseeing. It can also drop freight and passengers on beaches for hiking tours.
